We are looking to recruit for our client, leading European industrial and commercial group, a
Business Controller (M/F)
Job based in Luxembourg
Reporting to the Head of Controlling, you will assist on the control of the group of companies' cost accounting and budgetary control system, including analysis of all variances and preparation of financial information for planning, controlling and forecasting.
This will notably include:
Preparation of periodic management accounts, budgets and forecasts
Investigation and explanation of all variances
Review and validation of products costing and transfer prices
Assist on the implementation and maintenance of a transfer price database and a product’s procedure manual
Review of inter-company and third party contractual agreements and analysis of their financial impact, working closing with the Business Contract Officers.
Pro-actively reviewing and recommending areas for improvement of site financial performance
Continuous assist on review and update of internal controls
Participation in various project teams (i.e.: ERP implementations)
Assist the Head of Controlling and the CFO on all other matters as required
Degree in Accounting or Finance
At least 5 years relevant and successful experience in controlling or in a similar position, in industrial and/or commercial companies.
Self-motivated with drive and determination, the ability to work autonomously to achieve targets.

Excellent communicator, you interact and negotiate at all levels.
Well-organized, you demonstrate strong analytical and reasoning capabilities.

You have a strong command of English. Knowledge of Italian a plus, or other European languages.
IT skilled with Excel (Access would be a plus) and Database management + ERP (SAP a must).
