Our clients is an industrial group operating in south of Luxembourg.

Reporting to the CFO, he/she will be in charge of following topics:

Role:

• Control the accuracy of the company’s financial statements and accounting records,

• Ensure compliance according to the local statutory requirements,

• Hand over deliverables within deadlines,

• Management, control and support of the accounting team,

• Supervising and controlling the general accounting & reporting area (including tax and treasury, cost center/profit center accounting and preparation of financial statements),

• Monitoring of budgets and preparing periodic closing & reporting of various entities of the company,

• Supervising VAT, payroll and tax returns,

• Following-up the investment projects,

• Coordinate the process of internal and external audits.

 Profile:

• University degree in accounting or equivalent with a global financial officer experience of 10 years.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting team management, ideally within industrial company (production environment).

• Proficient in working with Lux GAAP (IFRS is a plus), and have good knowledge of SAP FI/CO or other ERP (Varial) and Excel.

• French and English are mandatory, German is a real plus
