Our Client, leading player worldwide in the manufacturing and distribution of Home and Outdoor products , is looking for a
Key Account Manager (m/f).
The position reports directly to a Senior Key Account Manager.
Job based in Home Office, (NRW, RP, HESSEN, SAARLAND or north of Bavaria).
Supports the Senior Key Account Manager to achieve the agreed Company Sales and net margin targets and new business targets for DIY customers based in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Supports the Senior Key Account Manager to develop and achieve agreed sales growth and net margin targets for each account controlled through regular contact and communication with the customer.
Assists in the development and implementation of local product range, pricing and promotional strategies and plans to achieve budgeted sales growth and net margin targets.
Participates in the negotiation of trading terms to achieve net margin targets within authorisation limits, as per annual National account plans.
Builds and maintains strong executive relationships with assigned customers.
Prepares presentations to review and monitor business performance, new products, new listings and promotional activity to ensure growth of the account portfolio.
Cooperates closely within the rest of the DACH team, as well as with other departments of the group such as Customer Service, Supply Chain and Marketing.
Reviews with the Senior Key Account Manager, the Sales Director and/or the Managing Director the strategic development of each account to plan growth of both existing and new products.

At least a Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Sales;
At least a first successful experience in sales preferably gained within the consumer
goods/home products related to DIY retail market in DACH within an international/export
environment or retail organisation;
Good IT skills. Ability to leverage systems such as Excel, Power point and SAP.
Native German and fluent in English is mandatory
Full clean Driving Licence.
